Pixel Scrapper December 2015 Blog Train - Let's Get Festive

I am trying to get festive!!  The holiday season has come up so fast it just doesn't feel like Christmas is right around the corner.  OMG!!  I am usually more prepared and have more than half of my shopping done by now.  I haven't even started shopping yet.  I pulled the old "fake" tree out of the shed, hosed it down and now letting it air dry out in the sun.  I haven't used a fake tree in several years so this should be interesting. At least I won't have to deal with the dreadful pine needles for months after the holiday season is over. Oh...and the lights that need to be hung outside...(sigh), I forgot about the lights.  I'll have to let you know how that turns out :o)

Pixel Scrapper November 2015 Blog Train - Thankful Harvest

Wow, Welcome to November!  Crazy how fast this year is flying by.  I have another freebie for you to enjoy.  The theme for this month was a little difficult (creatively) for me.  Living in Florida, it is hard to imagine it is that time of year.  We have two seasons, summer and winter which is more like fall to everyone else except we don't get the beautiful colors of fall foliage.  Our leaves go from green to brown so not having any green in the color palette made it a little tough.  I think I managed to pull it off. Enjoy!

Pixel Scrapper September 2015 Blog Train - Bohemian Breeze

Hello!  Long time, no post :o)  It's been a crazy, insanely busy summer.  We were on vacation for the first couple of weeks in July then spent the next month trying to catch up at work.  I managed to muster up a little something for the blog train this month which I hope will meet expectations.  I don't feel that I have quite the right balance of elements to go with the theme but it was the best I could do with little time to design. Here is my part of the Bohemian Breeze blog train.

Pixel Scrapper June 2015 Blog Train - England

Here was my take on "England".  All I could think of was tea!  I really wanted to do something different aside from the deep red and blue. My mind kept thinking of gardens, big hats, tea pots, tea cups, fields of poppies and mason jars!  I don't have any clue where the idea of mason jars came from but once I started....I couldn't stop.   I hope you can use something from this mix of random elements :o)  Enjoy!!

Pixel Scrapper May 2015 Blog Train - Renewal

OMG!  I am so not ready for this month.  I was plugging along thinking I had plenty of time to get this kit done and before I knew it...May is here.  If you have followed my blog at all in the past year or so I know I have mentioned many times that pastel colors and I do not get along.  I just can't wrap my brain around the colors.  I prefer the bold, dark colors...that seems to suit my "design" eye a little better.  Anyway, I gave it a shot as I do every month just to keep the "mojo" going.  I won't keep you waiting....here is "Renewal".

Pixel Scrapper February 2015 Blog Train - Rustic Charm

This one was difficult for me.  I couldn't think of what types of elements to make and what started out to be tags ended up being more like flowers so you get a bunch of flowers with this kit.  I just couldn't get "valentine" out of my head so you get the hearts too :o) Don't forget to stop by Pixel Scrapper to see the other great pieces of the train.
